August 10, 2010 | Jangchup Lingpa
On April 14, 2010, Kyegudo in northeastern Tibet was hit with a major earthquake with a vast disastrous impact on the people living in and around the place, The LLHHDL team and members did our best in setting our usual event for prayers and condolences by intimating our global members. It was a very saddening part for many of us since the place was a remote and also the condition of the houses and the people were badly effected due to such nature's fury.
Many of the members, emailed and messaged us with their prayers and condolences with eagerness to support and help in various capacities due to which we start a cause to invite our member to donate for this cause.
The LLHHDL team are happy and thank every one of our member for making a $1,000 donation to the people of Kyegudo. We hope that our donation have helped them with tents, clothing and food. We have made this donation towards Kyegudo by directing our donation to Tibetan Village Project, an NGO working for the improvement of live of the people in the remote country side of the Tibet.
